Ingredients (6 portions)

chili powder 1 tablespoon
kreuzkümmel/cumin 2 teaspoon
oregano 2 teaspoon
salt 2 teaspoon
pepper 1 teaspoon
paprika spice 1 teaspoon
pork 300 gram
onion 1 piece
garlic 6 cloves
orange 3 pieces 200 ml juice
lime 2 pieces

Instructions (10 min. prep, 300 min. total)

  1. Mix together the spices: chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, pepper, paprika/chipotle.
  2. Cut the meat into 3cm cubes.
  3. Add the meat to a large frying pan / wok.
  4. Cut the onions into 1cm cubes.
  5. Cut the garlic into 1mm slices.
  6. All all together and mix well in pan / wok.
  7. Pour the orange and lime juice over everything.
  8. Cover and simmer for 5 hours on medium heat.
  9. Stir once halfway through cooking.
  10. Shred the meet using two forks.
  11. Without the juices, spread the meat onto a baking sheet.
  12. Brown the meat in oven for 5 minutes until crispy brown.
