Ingredients (4 portions)

Ingredients Quantity Unit
potato 1000 gram
salt 1 teaspoon
butter 1 bedarf

Instructions (30 min. prep, 60 min. total)

  1. Peel the raw potatoes.
  2. Grate the potatoes in thin 5 x 50 mm slices.
  3. Heat the butter in a pan to medium heat.
  4. Add one portion of the grated potatoes.
  5. Fry until golden-brown.
  6. Flip the rösti after 15 min.
  7. Add more butter.
  8. Slide rösti back in for another 15 min.
  9. For extra essentials :p, add grated gruyere cheese

Comments

You can bake the roesti with the cheese in the oven to keep them warm and serve at the same time.
