rhubarb cake easy ;)

Ingredients (4 portions)

[dessert]
rhubarb 700 gram
[streusel]
butter 125 gram
flour 125 gram
almond 80 gram
sugar 70 gram
[dough]
butter 250 gram
sugar 180 gram
egg 4 pieces
flour 400 gram
baking powder 2 teaspoons
salt 1 pinch
milk 120 ml

Instructions (20 min. prep, 60 min. total)

  1. streusel first, dough second ;)
  2. cut the cold butter into small 5mm cubes.
  3. mix butter, flour, sugar, almonds by hand.
  4. knead to get small crumbles.
  5. place into fridges if you can resist eating it.
  6. preheat oven to 170 degree convection.
  7. clean and peel the rhubarb.
  8. cut rhubarb into 5mm slices.
  9. prep a baking form with baking sheets.
  10. for the dough, get a large bowl.
  11. mix the warm butter snd sugar first.
  12. once creamy fluffy, mix in 1 egg at a time.
  13. mix flour, salt and baking powder.
  14. interleave mixing flour or milk into dough.
  15. dough should become thick but flowing.
  16. spread the love and dough on baking form.
  17. firmly sprinkle the rhubarb across dough.
  18. cover with more love and streusel!
  19. bake for 40 min at 170 degree.
