Ingredients (3 portions)

bell pepper 3 pieces
rice 1 cup
beef minced 300 gram
onion 1 piece
cheese 100 gram
butter 10 strokes
salt 3 pinch
pepper 3 pinch
herbs 3 pinch
tomato paste 2 tablespoon
water 1 bedarf
oil 1 tablespoon

Instructions (30 min. prep, 60 min. total)

  1. Cut the bell peppers into halves.
  2. Butter the baking form or glass bowl.
  3. Place the peppers cut-side up inside.
  4. Add some water to cover bowl 1cm high.
  5. Preheat the oven to 180 degree convection.
  6. Start boiling some washed rice.
  7. Fry the minced meat in some hot oil.
  8. Cut the onion into 3mm cubes.
  9. Once minced meat is brown, add the onion.
  10. Add the herbs and spices.
  11. Add some tomato paste or fresh if you dare!
  12. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes.
  13. Once the rice is ready, mix all meat and rice.
  14. Mix in some of the grated cheese.
  15. Fill the bell peppers and stuff it tightly.
  16. Add grated cheese to cover the peppers.
  17. Heck, just add double the cheese!
  18. Add a bit of water to bowl.
  19. Bake in oven at 180 degree for 30 minutes.

herbs can be anything really - still need to experiment and research authentic ones.
