lamb racks with potato puree

lamb is always good!

Ingredients (4 portions)

lamb rack 600 gram
olive oil 2 tablespoons
salt 1 pinch
pepper 1 pinch
kohlrabi 400 gram
potato 700 gram
creme fraiche 2 tablespoons
salt 1 pinch
pepper 1 pinch
butter 50 gram
bärlauch 1 bunch
salt 1 pinch

Instructions (40 min. prep, 60 min. total)

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degree grill.
  2. Salt and pepper the lamb rack.
  3. Fry the lamb rack for 6 minutes each side.
  4. Flip only once when brown.
  5. Place lamb rack into oven for 15 minutes.
  6. Cook potatoes und kohlrabi in water.
  7. Smash kohlrabi and some potatoes.
  8. Add butter and creme fraiche and mix mister magic.
  9. Mix rest of potatoes with bärlauch and butter.

Comments

Alternatively, instead of bärlauch, use fresh herbs and a bit of garlic and mix well.
