Pork slices with capers

Schweinsplätzli mit Kapern

Ingredients (2 portions)

pork 250 gram
salt 0.5 teaspoon
pepper 1 pinch
flour 1 tablespoon
butter 10 gram
[sauce]
lemon 50 ml
broth 150 ml
capers 3 tablespoons
peppermint 2 tablespoons
salt 0.25 teaspoon
pepper 1 pinch
butter 2 tablespoons
flour 1 tablespoon

Instructions (2 min. prep, 10 min. total)

  1. Preheat the oven and plates at 60 degree.
  2. Spice the pork with salt and pepper.
  3. Roll the pork in flour.
  4. Wash and dry capers.
  5. Heat the butter in a frying pan.
  6. Fry the pork plätzli for 2 minutes.
  7. Keep the pork warm within the oven.
  8. Mix lemon juice and broth into the previous frying pan.
  9. Mix in capers and peppermint.
  10. Salt and pepper the mix.
  11. Add butter and flour while mixing.
  12. Simmer for 5 minutes while stirring.
  13. Add back pork plätzli into sauce.
  14. Serve immediately while hot.

Comments

Works well with noodles or rice.
