potato salad with mayonnaise

Ingredients (4 portions)

potato 750 gram
mayonnaise 250 gram
onion 3 pieces
mustard dijon 1 squirt
vinegar 2 tablespoons
water 50 ml
pickles 5 pieces
salt 1 pinch
pepper 1 pinch
chives 1 bunch
sugar powder 1 pinch
pickles juice 50 ml

Instructions (20 min. prep, 620 min. total)

  1. Cook the potatoes - best a day before.
  2. Peel and cut when cool into 5mm slices.
  3. Cut onions into 3mm cubes.
  4. Cut pickles into 3mm cubes.
  5. Cut chives into 3mm pieces.
  6. Portion chives for 4 parts mixing and 1 part decoration.
  7. Mix onions, mustard, vinegar, sugar powder, pickles, pickles juice, and water.
  8. Salt, pepper and chive the potato slices.
  9. Mix the mayonnaise with the sauce.
  10. Mix potato slices with the sauce.
  11. Serve with sprinkled chives on top.
