Butterbrote

Ingredients (50 portions)

Ingredients Quantity Unit
chocolate white 70 gram
butter 80 gram
sugar 100 gram
egg 1 piece
flour 100 gram
hazelnut 220 gram
pistachio 30 gram

Instructions (20 min. prep, 210 min. total)

  1. Mix butter and sugar and egg until foamy.
  2. Mix in flour and hazelnuts.
  3. Split dough into two pieces.
  4. Roll into cylinder shape ca 3cm thick.
  5. Wrap in wrap and cool for 3 hours.
  6. Preheat the oven to 160 degree convection.
  7. Prep a backing board with baking paper.
  8. Cut 1cm slickes off the cylinders.
  9. Bake for 10 minutes,
  10. Let it cool, man.
  11. Melt the white chocolate in a water bath.
  12. Spread some white chocolate over the cookies.
  13. Spread some pistachios over the cookies.
