Flammkuchen Classic

flour 200 gram
salt 0.5 teaspoon
water 150 ml
olive oil 2 tablespoon
sour cream 100 gram
onion 1 piece
bacon 100 gram
salt 1 pinch
pepper 1 pinch
muscat 1 pinch

Instructions (15 min. prep, 25 min. total)

  1. Preheat the oven to 250 degree [todo: convection, topbottom, feucht]
  2. Dough
  3. Mix flour, water, salt, water and olive oil in a bowl.
  4. Prep extra flour and water on the side if needed.
  5. Mix gently without kneading to a flat 2mm thick dough.
  6. Place onto baking paper on the grill tray.
  7. Cut onion into rings.
  8. Cut bacon into cubes or slices.
  9. Spread the sour creme thinly across dough.
  10. Sprinkle onion, bacon, salt, pepper, muscat randomly. Really.
  11. Bake for 10 minutes at 240 degree.

Comments

The ready-to-use dough from Migros or Coop also works wonders. :)
Additional topics can be corn, bell peppers, herbs.
One can mix the sour creme with creme fraiche.
