Bakudan

Bakudan is frankly put a garlic bomb. Best I ever had, I had in Matsumoto, Japan.

Ingredients (1 portions)

Ingredients Quantity Unit
[snack]
[vegetarian]
garlic 1 whole knob
olive oil 2 tablespoons

Instructions (10 min. prep, 10 min. total)

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degree.
  2. Remove the rough outer layers from the garlic knob.
  3. Place knob into fire oven proof bowl.
  4. Drown it in olive oil.
  5. Bake for 40 minutes at 180 degree.

Comments

Pick the individual cloves out and bake them with the olive oil.
