Instructions (30 min. prep, 90 min. total)
- Cut bell peppers in 2x4cm stripes.
- Cut pickles in 1x4cm stripes.
- Cut onions in 3mm rings.
- Cut bacon in 1cm cubes.
- Fry the bacon and minced meat. Probably bacon has enough fats to skip oil.
- Add onions to frying pan.
- Add spices salt, pepper, chili to meat.
- Throw away red bean juice.
- Wash red beans and add to mix.
- Add white beans with juice to mix.
- Add mushrooms to mix.
- Add ketchup or curry ketchup to mix.
- Bring to boil for few minutes.
- Simmer at low heat with cover for 30 minutes.
- Add pickles and Bohnenkraut.
- Simmer at very low heat for 30 minutes.
Comments
Note: Keep stirring every few minutes to avoid burning on the bottom.
You can use any spice level for your ketchup.
