Okonomiyaki

Ingredients (2 portions)

Ingredients Quantity Unit
flour 200 gram
water 250 ml
egg 3 pieces
salt 1 pinch
pepper 1 pinch
cabbage white 1 bedarf
onion 1 bedarf
onion spring 1 bedarf
garlic 1 bedarf
bacon 1 bedarf
mayonnaise 1 bedarf
bbq sauce 1 bedarf
coconut fat 1 bedarf

Instructions (20 min. prep, 10 min. total)

  1. Mix flour, water, egg, salt and pepper.
  2. Cut bacon into thin 3mm stripes.
  3. Cut all vegetables into thin 3mm stripes.
  4. Fry the vegetables and bacon in a pan for a few minutes.
  5. Mix all with the dough.
  6. Scoop one portion and distribute on a thin pan.
  7. Fry at medium heat until well cooked.
  8. Decorate with mayonnaise or BBQ sauce as desired.

Comments

Note: First okonomiyaki will stick to the pan. The next ones should fry more easily. Do not fry too hot.
